How do you terminate or 'Opt Out' of a campaign?
A person can opt out or terminate a campaign by sending an SMS with keyword:
S, STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE

A Common Short Code, or CSC.

Is a short code which is common across many wireless service providers in the U.S.
It's the inter-carrier connection for your mobile application.

All CSCs are 5 or 6 digits in length and can be either random or select (vanity or easy to remember).

The Common Short Code Administrator (CSCA) or www.usshortcodes.com assigns CSCs to applicants allowing them to be used for the same application across multiple wireless service providers.

      - May be three or four digits long, and always come from YOUR carrier !
    2. Shared Short Codes,
      - Are always five or six digits long, and can come from YOUR carrier or ANYBODY !
    3. Virtual SMS number,
      - Also called a Long Code or long number, are 10-12 digits long (depending on the country).

    Wireless carriers sometimes use three or four digit short codes for special services that are only available on their particular network.
    Three or four digit short codes are not common and they are not commercially available.

    Common Short Codes (CSCs) are managed by the Common Short Code Administration.

It is then up to each individual cellular carrier to approve that short code powered program for use on their network. This is a complicated process, and because of that, most individuals and organizations must work with a partner like Ez Texting to handle their application.

  4. In the event of a violation of the TCPA;
    - Individuals are entitled to collect damages directly from a solicitor for $500 to $1,500 for each violation,
    or recover actual monetary loss, whichever is higher.
  5. Trespass to chattels is only actionable if actual damage can be shown.
