Internet Geolocation of an ip-address

  1. What is Geolocation ?
    Your physical location can be found by the
    ip-address (38.107.191.106) of your computer.
  2. Does Geolocation work ?
    The short answer is, no.
    It seems that the ISP Road Runner is the most accurate.
  3. Will it work someday ?
    Maybe, see XEP-0080 or XMPP.
  4. The iPhone and iPod Touch are using Sky Hook Wireless to try to do it.
